The newest specialist area of The Laboratory has established itself rapidly and the âorganicâ lab is seeing an increasing number of samples arriving for testing for restricted substances such as azo-dyes, Chromium VI and formaldehyde.Â
The Laboratory also has the distinction of being the first testing house to be UKAS accredited to the draft of the new EN-71-3, Migration of Toxic elements which is a requisite of the Toy Safety Regulations and comes into force as of July 2013.
